Most EV chargers in
societies don't actually work.

Operators install and disappear. No maintenance. No billing. No accountability. That's the gap Zevo was built to close.

Install & disappear
Operators close the deal, install hardware, then go silent. Chargers break. Nobody responds for weeks. Residents give up on EV charging entirely.
Power overload — no plan
Chargers installed without a load study. Society's transformer trips. Residents and the builder both suffer — and nobody takes responsibility.
Billing chaos
No per-resident metering. Electricity disputes between EV and non-EV owners every single month. Society committees spend hours resolving arguments that shouldn't exist.
Legal & NOC maze
Operators leave the society committee to figure out by-law compliance, NOC processes, and MSEDCL paperwork. Deals stall for months over paperwork nobody owns.
Residents left to figure it out
New EV owners move in and find a charger with no instructions, no app setup, no onboarding. The amenity exists but nobody uses it. A wasted investment.
Builder earns nothing ongoing
Builder gets a one-time goodwill, then loses all visibility and income. No data. No branding. No revenue share. No reason to recommend the operator.

Built in Pune.
Built for Pune.

Zevo was started because we kept seeing the same story — a housing society gets EV chargers installed, they work for a few weeks, and then they quietly stop. Nobody comes. Nobody fixes it. The builder gets the blame.

We built Zevo to be the operator that never disappears. We're not a hardware company. We're not a software company. We're an infrastructure management company — and our job only starts after the charger goes live.

We work exclusively with residential townships and housing societies in Pune. No highways. No malls. No quick-win public charging. Just neighbourhoods — because that's where EVs actually charge, every single night.

I've spent most of my career thinking about one thing: how do you build systems that make people's lives genuinely easier? In HR and people operations, that meant processes, accountability, and getting the right things to happen without constant follow-up. Turns out, that's exactly the muscle Zevo runs on.

The idea came from watching my own neighbourhood. EVs were showing up in parking lots, extension cords were running from third-floor windows, and the operators who had installed chargers six months earlier had simply disappeared. No one was angry enough to sue anyone — they were just quietly disappointed. That bothered me enough to do something about it.

I started Zevo because the problem is solvable — not with better technology, but with better accountability. A written SLA. Real maintenance. Billing that doesn't cause arguments. The tech already existed. What was missing was someone willing to put their name to a promise and actually keep it.

I think in systems. When someone describes a problem to me, the first thing my mind does is ask: where does this break, and how do you make sure it doesn't break again? That instinct has shaped everything I've done in business growth and operations — and it's exactly what Zevo's model demands.

My role is to make sure the thing Nilesh promises in a pitch meeting actually exists when we show up to deliver. Vendor agreements that hold up, finances that don't surprise us, and an operations rhythm that works at 10 sites just as reliably as it will at 100. I'm the person who asks the question everyone else is hoping no one asks.

Outside of work, I believe in doing fewer things better — which is probably why Zevo's model is as simple as it is. One city first. One segment. One promise kept at a time. We'll earn the right to expand.
